Brand Strategy

Every year, Subaru recognizes one retailer whose commitment to its community goes far beyond the showroom with the prestigious Retailer of the Year award. The challenge was to make that recognition feel as meaningful on screen as it was in real life. Working alongside the winning retailer, their hometown charity, and the people whose lives they had touched, we spent months uncovering the stories behind their impact and shaping them into a 13-minute documentary. The result was more than an awards video. It was a deeply human story about what happens when a business chooses to show up for its community. The film premiered at Subaru of America’s largest awards ceremony of the year before being distilled into a 30-second national television spot, extending one retailer’s story into a larger invitation for the entire Subaru network: this is what it looks like to live the Love Promise.
